Are you a piano player, a teacher of piano, a young uprising star, or a never discovered jewel who enjoys playing just for the pleasure of it?

Do you have something to share with our community which can inspire, motivate, and give direction to others? A story, a philosophy of teaching, an approach to performing, or a discovery of a new style or a composer? Do you like classical music, jazz, pop, or electronica?

PianoMix.com would like to feature you in the upcoming Spotlight section. To be considered for the interview please follow these steps:

Submission Rules

1. Answer the sample questions located below. Feel free to elaborate. Answers consisting of paragraphs instead of single sentences are preferred. After all our Readers want to read a story and not a job application.

• The questions are to serve as your guideline only. Some of them may not apply to you, and you may want to add your own.
• You may also bypass our questions altogether and write your own article about yourself, or submit an article that has been published previously. Please make sure that you own the copyrights to such article since we don't want to infringe on someone else's intellectual property.

2. Use our Interview Entry Form at the bottom of this page.

3. If we choose your article for publishing we will contact you via e-mail within a few days from the receipt of your entry.

4. Upon the acceptance of your article we will ask you to submit a photo of yourself. We prefer a professional quality close-up shot of upper body in *.jpg format no larger than 400 by 400 pixels. Please do not submit any photos at this time.

5. We reserve the right to edit your article/interview to fit within the confines of our space and according to the purposes of this web site.

6. Upon the publishing of your interview we ask that as a token of your appreciation you place the "I have been featured on PinoMix.com" button link. Although this step is not mandatory, we would value your support in spreading the word about PianoMix.com.

7. An important thing to remember is that, although we would like to feature your CDs, music, or books you have published, the main goal of this interview is to get to know you and to learn about your experience of playing the piano. We would like to highlight your philosophy of playing/teaching, tips, advice, and encouragement to other piano players.
